Ion Magnetic Induction Therapy

The PAP Ion Magnetic Induction (IMI), an Investigational medical device in the U.S, is a proprietary Invention of Professor Panos T. Pappas.

In 1984 Dr. Pappas began working with a colleague on a high-current research project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His colleague, also a close friend of his who was working on the project with him, was diagnosed with inoperable cancer and with less than three months to live. Nevertheless, they continued to work on the plasma physics project that involved daily exposure to electrical arcing due to the failure of various conductors and catastrophic heat that occurred with the sudden opening of massively high-current circuits.
After finishing the project and returning to Greece, Professor Pappas was astonished to learn that upon the last examination of his friend's cancer they reported that it had entirely disappeared without a trace.

In discussing this phenomenon they considered the fact that repeated exposure to the arcing may have caused this remission. At that time, Dr. Pappas was assisted by his pregnant wife. Alarmed at the possibility that the biological effects of such exposure may have had an adverse affect on his still-unborn son, Pappas immediately launched an investigation by subjecting rats to the same type of high-current fields. Fortunately. Mrs. Pappas bore a normal, healthy son.

However, in continuing his animal studies, he found that tumors implanted in the laboratory animals consistently shrank and disappeared when exposed to electromagnetic field pulses. In view of a long series of successful animal trials, and as no adverse effects were noted in either the experimental animals or controls.

The first of these was perhaps the most dramatic examples of what was to follow. In 1990, a patient was presented in an extreme condition with stage IV uterine cancer, vaginal fistula, lymphomas and severe abdominal hemorrhage, and was not expected to survive. With no other therapy than six months of treatments with the prototype PAP-IMI (which has since been greatly improved), she became the only patient on record in the hospital with a similar complaint that was discharged as cured and healthy.

In continuing to treat more patients, many of whom had other medical problems, some surprising new discoveries began to emerge. In one such patient who had the deformed, painful and swollen knuckles of rheumatoid arthritis, it was visibly reduced during a single treatment and the pain was relieved. In another patient with a detached retina in one eye, the retina reattached spontaneously without any other treatment. Open wounds healed with unprecedented speed, and new scar tissue was replaced with new, healthy cells. An AIDS patient treated for Kaposis sarcoma suddenly acquired new energy, appetite and an increasing T-cell count. Bacterial infections and even such parasites as tape worms and hook worms were found to disappear with PAP-IMI treatments. New anecdotal reports of such coincidental cures and pain relief continue to come in from wherever the non-invasive PAP-IMI devices were used.

Such dramatic evidence of the safety and efficacy of the PAP-IMI quickly won official approval for its use in Greece, the European community and Canada. But puzzling questions remained as to how the PAP-IMIs short, powerful bursts of magnetic energy could effect such rapid healing and pain relief. The mechanisms had to be reasonably explained before Professor Pappas' novel therapeutic device would be accepted by the medical and scientific community. In particular, there was the apparent paradox of how they could cause cancer cells and infectious organisms to die on the one hand, and renew vital energy to normal calls on the other. For this reason, he spent three years on sabbatical leave in the U.S. where there was a vast amount medical literature and research resources available.

His constant and diligent efforts succeeded in developing the evidence to support the explanations and theories presented below, that were used in applying for international patents on the PAP-IMI that have since been granted by many countries. Including the U.S.A.

Who is Dr. Pappas?
As a young student he showed exceptional talent and understanding of both science and physics. In high school Physics he achieved the highest score since the test has been given. The score was well into the genius category.

He graduated college with advanced degrees in math, science and physics, and continued his graduate studies to pursued a Ph D. For his Ph. D. thesis, he wrote an expanded the four dimensional model of time, space, mathematical physics to a six dimensional model
In 1984 he completed his Ph. D. and again achieved the highest score from the Physics dept. of the University of Athens Greece.

In 1985 he started to research the phenomenon of electro-magnetisms of incomplete circuits, and electrical arching phenomenon (simulating lightening), as with the PAP-IMI device. These interests lead him to the evolving new technology of genetic engineering for treating chronic degenerative diseases.

Presently he teaches Math and Physics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He also posses several patents and licenses to use and mass-produce electromagnetic devices throughout the word.

He has accomplished many other interesting achievements and acknowledgements world-wide and is renowned as a globe lecturer and teacher in his area of expertise.
